When we were camping Karene had just found out her sister, Wendy, has breast cancer. One of Wendy's thoughts was she needed to get her hair cut so she would be able to give her long hair to "Locks of Love". They cannot accept it once you start chemo which because of the spread of the cancer she was fast tracked.....so we are walking in support of her.
At quilting my friend Barbara shared that her sister-in-law's breast cancer is back after ten years. They fly out Friday to be with her because she has to have a mastectomy.
I will walk to support these women but I would love for this list to stop growing.
Do daily breast exams and get your mammograms.

My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with these women and the others fighting the battle.
Mine as well... can we get a list together for the walk to put on a cape or t-shirt?
